FINALIST PRIZES
The finalist in each grade group will receive two (2) day passes to Coulee Con 2022!
SUNDAY ART SHOW (OPTIONAL)
Coulee Con 2022 Family Day will be hosting a Cover Contest Art Show, where entrants' works will be displayed for attendees to view. All entrants are encouraged to sign up to exhibit their entries at the art show.
Entrants who wish to display their artworks will be contacted after the results of the 2022 Coulee Con Cover Contest are announced to make further arrangements.
Anyone participating in the Art Show will receive free Sunday passes for them and their family.
CONTEST RULES
Contest is open to children in grades 1-12.
Contest will be split into three grade groups: PK-4, 5-8, and 9-12.
Contest entry is free.
Artwork will be judged on originality, creativity, and execution of the theme.
One finalist will be selected from each grade groups.
One overall winner will be selected from the finalists to have their art printed on the 2022 Coulee Con Programming Guide.
Design must relate to this year's theme: "Bringing Gamers Together is Magic!"
GUIDELINES
All entries must be the entrant's original work. If Coulee Con discovers that an entrant's entry infringes upon the rights of another person's work, that entry will be disqualified from the contest.
One entry allowed per contestant. Multiple entries from a single entrant will be disqualified.
Entrants should complete their entries on a white, blank, unlined sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Copier paper, sketchbook paper, white posterboard or cardstock, etc are all acceptable.
Acceptable media includes but is not limited to pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, chalk pastels, acrylic paint, and ink.

ART OWNERSHIP
By entering this contest, entrant and their legal guardian give Coulee Con full rights to make minor edits to work and to distribute the work on programming materials.
Contest entrant retains all ownership rights to their work.
Coulee Con will not pay royalty fees to entrants beyond distribution of announced prizes. Any winner who demands royalties in exchange for permission to reproduce their work will be disqualified and another winner will be chosen.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Entrants must submit a completed entry form, including a HIGH QUALITY digital image of their artwork for their entry to be considered complete. Any poor-quality digital images will be rejected and entrant will be notified.
All entrants under the age of 18 must have consent of a parent or legal guardian. Completion of this entry form is considered permission from parents to print their children's artwork and first name to be printed in the programming materials and to be put online.
Parents or legal guardians of winners will be required to sign a physical form granting permission to Coulee Con to reproduce and distribute art at no charge to participants.
Entrants must keep their original artwork until contest results are announced and winners are contacted.
Winners will be contacted to make arrangements to turn original artwork over to a representative of Coulee Con. If a winner no longer has their original art piece, their entry will be disqualified and another winner will be chosen.
