Run For Your Lives! - a Classic Traveller RPG game
Through a series of unfortunate events that cannot be explained without admitting to multiple felonies, you stole the Ancients artifact and returned to Dr. Knohw’s secret lair inside a hollowed-out asteroid via the small, hotwired ship's boat that is currently being refueled in the Shuttle Bay.
The artifact is a small cylinder of indeterminate metal without decoration; a true enigma: dull, heavy and inert. But the good (and mad) Doctor, giddy and feeling magnanimous, invited you to witness his unlocking of its secrets.
Awaiting both payment and your small craft to be refueled, you agreed. You watched as Dr. Knohw placed the artifact into one of his incomprehensibly complicated laboratory instruments.
And then everything went terribly wrong.
