Welcome to HMGS, Inc.'s Cold Wars 2026

Please plan to join us for Cold Wars 2026 from February 5th thru February 8th.

Event Submission

Submission of Events (e.g., games, seminars, etc.) opens Monday, November 10th. The deadline for "large" tables and special requests is November 28th, with December 18th the deadline for submissions to be eligible for a complimentary Badge and inclusion in the Convention Program.

Events (e.g., games, seminars, classes, tournaments, etc.) that have been placed on the schedule can be viewed by clicking the "Events Schedule" item on the dropdown menu under "Attend" - all events submitted before the December 18th deadline and Approved will be Scheduled before Ticket Sales opens on December 22nd.

In the Schedule of Events, you can hover over the "i" to get the first few words of the session description, or click on the session "Name" to bring up the full details of the session.

Approved - but un-Scheduled - Events are only visible to the Event Host and the administrators.

Volunteer Registration

Volunteer registration opens November 10th. Click on the Volunteer item in the top menu to create/submit an Application.

Exhibitor Registration

Exhibitor Registration opens October 27th.

To view an Exhibit Hall image, select Venue under Attend, and then select "Exhibit Hall" from the dropdown.

Attendee Registration

Attendee Registration will open in two phases.

Phase 1 - Badge sales will open on Monday, November 10th at 7:00pm Eastern.

Phase 2 - Ticket and Merchandise sales will open on Monday, December 22nd at 7:00pm Eastern.

This two phase approach will allow us to:

• deal with any Badge issues
• ensure that all complimentary badges (e.g., game hosts, volunteers, etc.) are in the system before everyone starts signing up for games, etc.,.

We've created a short overview on How to Register for Badges & Tickets. You MUST complete the Check Out process when purchasing a Badge, or when adding Tickets or Merch to your Badge. If you only add items to your Cart, they will disappear after 2 hours.

To get HMGS Member pricing you MUST access Badge sales via the Member Pricing page, so that we can verify your Membership.

For non-Member Badge sales, there is a "Get/View Your Badge" item in the "Attend" dropdown menu (above).

Youth (18 & under) and Non-Playing Partner badges can only be added to a paid (or complimentary) Badge, so the links to add those are in the "Badge Verified" confirmation you will receive after purchasing your Badge.
