Welcome, commanders, to the Age of Sigmar: Twin Spearhead Series at BR&WL-CON! Prepare for two days of epic battles in the Mortal Realms, where you’ll conquer with blazing fury on Friday’s Fire & Jade and hold the line with unbreakable resolve on Saturday’s Sand & Bone. This packet contains all the details you need to prepare for this thrilling event.
The Twin Spearhead Series consists of two separate one-day tournaments, each with 24 player slots, played using the Spearhead rulesets (Fire & Jade or Sand & Bone), including all applicable balance updates, FAQs, and errata. Each day offers scenarios, themes, and rewards, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.
Friday: Fire & Jade – A fiery clash of aggressive tactics and rapid conquests. Seize objectives, crush your foes, and claim glory in the shortest time possible.
Saturday: Sand & Bone – A test of endurance and strategy. Defend key positions, withstand relentless assaults, and prove your army’s resilience.
Both days follow the same schedule, with awards presented on Sunday:

Spearhead Forces: Choose a Spearhead list from Games Workshop’s official Spearhead lists. You must use the same Spearhead list/army for all rounds on a given day, but you may use a different Spearhead list/army for each day.
Regimental Abilities & Enhancements: Select these freely at the start of each tournament round; no pre-submission required.
Supplies: Maps, Terrain, Twist Cards, and Battle Tactic Cards will be provided by the organizers.
Assembly: Armies must be fully assembled and on the correct base sizes. Painting is optional.
Battle Ready Prize Draw: Armies painted to a Battle Ready standard (main areas painted with differentiated details, majority of details painted) are entered into a prize draw.
WYSIWYG Exceptions:
“Counts as” weapons are allowed if consistently applied across all units of the same type (e.g., all Guttrippaz in the army use Hackas, even if some are modeled with Stikkas).
Non-Games Workshop miniatures are permitted if on correct base sizes and similarly armed.
Conversions are encouraged but must approximate the original model’s size. Contact the Tournament Organizer for approval at least one week before the event.
Terrain will be set up according to the specific Daily event, with thematic adjustments to match each day’s theme:
Fire & Jade: Each player is provided with one small and one large terrain piece to place.
Sand & Bone: Defender picks from Terrain Group A (Large Wall, Small Fence) or Terrain Group B (Small Wall, Large Fence), with the attacker receiving the other.
Players are expected to adhere to the Player’s Code (General’s Handbook, p. 57). Bring any concerns to the Tournament Organizer to ensure a fun and fair environment for all.
Each day features unique battle achievements to enhance the thematic experience:
