Located over 1,200 miles from Tokyo, this small island provides a sharp contrast to the hustle-and-bustle of Japan's megacity. On Ishigaki, it is all about nature, enjoying the outdoors and relaxing.
With this adventuresome tour, you will enjoy nature at its finest as you float through a mangrove forest in a canoe or on a stand-up paddleboard. After, you will get to enjoy the laid-back, traditional island of Taketomi. The island's picturesque town features cottages with terracotta roofs, sleepy lanes and pristine beaches virtually devoid of tourists. Life here is laid-back and relaxed.
The tour will include all transportation, including the ferry ride to and from Taketomi.
NOTES: The mangrove tour includes all equipment (life jackets, shoes, board, canoe, paddles, etc.).
The age limit enforced by the tour company for this adventure is 65.
