Summary
We have arranged a private Behind the Scenes tour of Hobbiton Movie Set for Friday, February 13, 2026. This will be a full-day tour leaving Auckland around 8:00am, returning around 6:00pm.

Flights
You will need to make your own flight arrangements to Auckland (recommended to arrive by Thursday, February 12th) and then on to Sydney after the tour (recommended on Saturday, February 14th). The cruise departs Sydney on Sunday, February 15th. I've booked these flights for Kristine and myself on Air New Zealand:

You will need to make your own hotel arrangements, but I recommend the SkyCity Hotel in Auckland - Kristine and I will be staying there and that is the pickup & drop-off location for the transportation to Hobbiton. Book here.

| 1:55pm | Guests arrive to the art department workshops for a “behind-the-scenes” tour |
