In honor of International Tabletop Day, Adirondacon presents ADK Tabletop Day on April 28, 2018 in Queensbury, NY. It will be a 12-hour day full of boardgames, Card Games, RPGs and more!
We have two rooms reserved at the Elks Lodge in Queensbury, and we will be filling the venue with tons of tables, chairs, games and hopefully people! ;-)
We have a large lending library for those who enjoy gathering with friends and playing various games at their own pace at open tables. Plus, we will have a schedule of games for those who would like to learn to play new games from an experienced teacher (aka. Game Master), or just play a specific game with a group.
We have several Board Games, Role Playing Games and Miniature Games on the schedule. If you pre-register by buying a Badge in advance, you can save yourself a spot in games by taking tickets for any available slots. (Tickets are free.)
There will be door prizes throughout the day and a raffle to benefit our chosen charity, Extra Life. Hopefully a few surprises too!
Ginny Rae's of Hudson Falls will be the food vendor and beverages will be available for purchase through the Elks Lodge. We are happy to have Coopers Cave Games and Paintball and The Freakopolis Geekery back in the vending area, along with a few other merchants.
In the RPG Room we will have the Upstate New York Pathfinder Lodge running a couple of tables. Plus there will be some Dungeons & Dragons 5E, Runequest III and TORG Eternity on tap as well.
We will have local game designers sharing their games:
BeCrofty will be on hand with their games Coauthoration and Omen Peak.
Stephen Tracy will be running demos of his game Scouts.
The Screaming Brain will be running demos of their game The Exorcism at the House of Monkton Falls. We are very excited to have them, as they are in the middle of a Kickstarter for their game. The campaign will still be going on while they are at our event, so if you like it, consider backing their project!
And later in the afternoon, Peter McPherson will be playtesting his game Tiny Towns, which is currently in development with a publisher.
