YHPL GEEK OUT 2

Geek Out is back! It's Year 2 and we're here to play games all day again.

Registration is open as of 5/22/26. We are still accepting event submissions through 6/5/26.

Registration Instructions

Attending YHPL Geek Out is completely free, but attending requires registration. There are 3 ways to register for YHPL Geek Out.

1. Register here on tabletop.events by clicking on the 'buy badges' button in the right sidebar. It's free. You just need to provide your name and an email address after registering to use this site. You MUST choose this option if you want to register for any of the scheduled RPG events. There may be limited space availability on the day of the con, but don't count on it. Reserve your space now. After you have a badge, you may sign up for scheduled events by registering for a 'ticket' for the event that you are intending to attend.
2. Register by calling the library at 607-797-4816. Let us know you're coming and give us your name and email address. All open gaming areas will be available to you.
3. Unless we get so many pre-registrations that we're at max capacity (which is unlikely), we will be accepting same day walk-in registrations on 6/20. You will need to provide your name and email address and we'll give you a badge. All open gaming areas will be available to you.

Welcome to YHPL Geek Out! We aim to be your home gaming convention in Johnson City, NY. Broome County is full of gamers. Our hope is to provide a public convention time and space in which longer games can get played. The "game convention" is a wonderful break from reality, a time set aside to do nothing but play games. We here at YHPL support this sort of "escapism" and are proud to be hosting the 2nd ever YHPL Geek Out in 2026.

The event will be June 20th from 10am to 8pm. There will be open gaming the entire day. There will also be scheduled events, which is why we're using tabletop.events. In order to register for YHPL Geek Out, you must create a free account here at tabletop.events. If you need any assistance doing this, please call us at 607-797-4816 and ask for John; he'll be happy to help you with the process. Once you have an account here, you can register for a badge, which is your entrance into the event. You can also sign up for the events listed in the Events Schedule found in the "Attend" tab above.
