Venger Con is all about... old school, OSR, and traditional roleplaying games!
In addition to actual games, there will be workshops focusing on Game Mastering, playing, as well as adventure writing and publishing.
Our convention (sponsored by Venger's old-school gaming blog) will not be using any kind of x-cards, checklists, or "safety tools" for children since this is an 18+ event (16 or 17 is acceptable if chaperoned by a parent or guardian, but please ask me first). GMs preparing controversial, provocative, or edgy content, should state that along with the event description.
This convention is for everyone who wants to focus on gaming, regardless of politics. Continually disruptive, harassing, or antagonistic attendees will be asked to leave.
Dates - Friday July 22nd, Saturday July 23rd, and Sunday July 24th
Venue - The DOUBLETREE by Hilton @ 4402 East Washington Ave, Madison WI (across from East Towne Mall).
Standard attendance limited to 100 people @ $100 for the entire weekend. I've been asked about a one-day pass several times. If you want a one-day ticket, it's $50. Email me about that: Venger.Satanis@yahoo.com
