Event Submission Information

Events are scheduled time windows for a specific activity that attendees can sign up to participate in. Events can be submitted by anyone but must be approved by TTGX, and can be anything from a scheduled play of a board game, to whatever creative idea you think people would like to participate in (ideally still boardgame related).

How To Host an Event

1. Create an account on Tabletop.Events
2. Buy a badge to TTGX for the dates you want to host your event
   1. If you run at least 32 player-hours of events you are eligible for a badge refund! More info in the Event Host policy.
3. Submit your event via the event submission form before 11/13/26 for priority placement in the schedule and maximum visibility to attendees
   1. You can submit an event until 2/19/27 but are not guaranteed placement or promotion.
4. TTGX will contact you with your finalized event placement by 1/08/27 so you will know when and where to run your event
5. Event registration opens on 1/15/27 for attendees to sign up for events, promote your event on social media or in your gaming groups
6. Show up to your designated table 10 minutes before your scheduled event time to prepare your space
7. Run your event! Report no shows to TTGX staff.
8. After the event, submit the event host refund form to be credited back your badge cost.

Event Host Policy

We're seeking Game Masters (GMs) to run events. By submitting an event, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Event Host policy.

GMs have the option to run events as a bystander or play in their own event. If the event sells out and the GM has not purchased a ticket to reserve their seat they are expected to participate as a GM only.

As a GM you agree to tidy your event space before you leave and to vacate it in advance of the next event so they may set up.

Perks

TTGX offers free badge(s) to Event Hosts who run at least 32 player-hours’ worth of events to recognize the time and effort that goes into hosting events.

Player-hours are calculated as maximum player seats listed × scheduled event duration (in hours). The Event Host does not count as a player seat.

For example: running 8 hours of 4 player games would be 32 player-hours and earn a free badge.
