Deep Spacin’ - A Space Faring Roguelike RPG Playtest
Deep Spacin’ is a roguelike game where you encounter randomly generated events, in your randomly generated ship, with your randomly generated loot. Within the game, you will have to balance unique Occupation and Species abilities along with assigning dice to stats of your choice; with this in mind, no two spacers will ever be the same. Death happens quickly, and humorous situations are bound to occur.
In this playtest, you will create a character, navigate through three sectors, and blast past the obstacles standing in the way of that sweet sweet payday.
The job you're taking may be the most dangerous, and most profitable. This next mission is poised to be your last, as the reward is good enough to set the entire crew up for life! That is, if there’s a life left to set up...

Once the final frontier, has now been charted almost entirely. But one sector remains wild and wacky in the midst of everything: Deep Space. From terrifying alien species, mind-bending time distortions, and bodegas floating in asteroid belts, Deep Space has it all.
You are part of a crew of experienced Spacers – a wild ragtag collective willing to take on the most dangerous jobs in this galaxy (and the next one over). Unfortunately, your most recent job ended in catastrophic failure, including the loss of your ship and all your equipment. However, this job you're taking may be the most dangerous, and most profitable. This next mission is poised to be your last, as the reward is good enough to set the entire crew up for life!
