Tabletop Utopia at ConnectiCon XXII July 17-20, 2025

Tabletop Gaming at ConnectiCon primarily takes place at the Marriott Hartford Downtown in Ballroom C/D/E, the ballroom prefunction space, Trading Card Game events take place in Exhibit Hall B at the Connecticut Convention Center in the TCG Area.

We'll have nearly 50 tables available for tabletop gaming at the Marriott. We'll have tables dedicated to both scheduled games, as well as casual pick-up games, so folks can stop by and play any game from our games library throughout the event hours at the Marriott.

We offer scheduled game sessions in 2 hour and 30 minute windows, long enough to teach most board games in a single session, or a full roleplaying game adventure in a double session.

Looking to play a specific game?

Become a Game Host, bring a copy and teach/run your favorite game to fellow gamers.

We expect that Game Hosts will play the board game they are teaching, where RPG Hosts will serve as the storyteller/narrator of the adventure they are running.

Game Hosts have access to a discounted badge registration rate, and after successfully completing 4 sessions, their badge registration fee will be refunded.

Successful sessions (a session in which a Game Host has two or more additional session participants) will be further rewarded with a $10 vendor credit being issued for the Game Host to spend with any of our Sponsor Vendors at the convention.

Need more than 5 hours to teach, play, and finish up your game? You can combine up to 4 sessions on Thursday or as many as 6 sessions on Friday and/or Saturday. Only two sessions are available on Sunday.
