Several years after the Darkness descended upon us, the veil has finally lifted and SnowCon returns for 2023!

We go back to our roots this year as SnowCon heads back to the Black Bear Inn in Orono, Maine. A major change this year is that all badges must be pre-purchased. We will not sell badges at the door.

We will follow COVID public event restrictions if any are in place at the time. As of now, masks are welcome, but not required. Hand sanitizer will be abundant. If you are sick, we ask you not attend, but that's also generally good advice.

SnowCon is Maine's well-loved annual tabletop event where a true community gathers to share their love for games. SnowCon features board games, role-playing games, card games and miniatures. Players of all experience levels are welcome. Plus, vendors are there to cater to your ruthless creativity!

You'll find a good many games on the schedule as attendees submit them. These are 2 and 4 hour games that you sign up to play by "buying" a ticket. To check out the schedule, click on the "Attend Menu" then "Events Schedule".

Attendees are also welcome to BYOGame and look for players in our open-gaming section. This is a large section of tables reserved for open gaming. Open gaming is free form... no schedule, no reserved seats. Maybe it's a standard game that you just love playing over and over. Maybe it's a new game just received as a gift or a fresh Kickstarter delivery. It could even be a wild, unique mash-up (ever played Apples Against Humanity, Catan Twister, or Scrabbalderdash?). SnowCon has also proudly served as a beta testing ground and launch event for several new games so you may find yourself playing the next big thing – sometimes before it’s even a thing!

About Tabletop.Events:

1) First, purchase a badge to attend. SnowCon will be held on Saturday, January 14 and Sunday, January 15, 2023. Badges are available for full weekend play. (Single-day badges may be available later in December, as space allows.)

2) Plan your gameplay. To reserve a seat in a scheduled game, you "buy a ticket" for the game. Tickets are free - it's just the way that this system manages schedules. Be sure to reserve your spot early though — games fill up! Open gaming is just that, open. Look for a "Players Wanted" sign and join in.

3) Want to host a game? GMs submit their games right on this site. Once approved, and once sign ups open, players can begin signing up to play. We can't wait to see you at the table!
