SkålCon 2024

Welcome to SkålCon 2024, a three-day Pathfinder & Starfinder Society focused gaming convention in-person at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West in Plymouth, MN.! Proceeds from SkålCon 2024 raise money for charities in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area!

Registration

Our badge types are as follows:

• Volunteer: For attendees volunteering for GM and/or HQ positions at the convention. Preemptively select this badge if you intend to GM/volunteer for at least one slot (4 hours) - we will contact you later about GMing/HQ/other volunteer opportunities!
• Attendee: For attendees wanting only to play.

Schedule

Our specific game schedule will be available on this website for sign-up. Game sign-up will NOT be available right away after registration opens; we will communicate with attendees once the schedule is ready for sign-up!

Pathfinder & Starfinder Games

  Friday: 11am – 4pm
  Friday: 6pm-11pm
  Saturday: 8am-12:30pm
  Saturday: 1pm-6pm
  Saturday: 7pm-12am
  Sunday: 11am-4pm

The Pathfinder Adventure Card Game will be available all weekend, upon request.

Registration/HQ Hours

  Friday: 10am-11pm
  Saturday: 7:30am-12am
  Sunday: 10am-4pm

Special Events

• Thurston Hillman, Paizo Associate Publisher, will be running three tables of Starfinder 2nd edition playtest #1 Shards of the Glass Planet.

• Jenny Jarzabski, Paizo Senior Developer, will be running three author tables of Starfinder 2nd edition playtest #4 Rescue at Shimmerstone Mine.

• Dustin Knight, Paizo Developer, will be running three author tables of Starfinder 2nd edition playtest #3 Wheel of Monsters.

• Jessica Redekop, freelance author and game designer, will be running one table of the PFS2 special #6-00 Salt of the Ocean (tier 1-2) and two author tables of her scenario PFS2 #2-16 Freedom for Wishes.

• Hilary Moon Murphy, freelance author, will be running one author table of her scenario SFS #6-12 Yesteryear’s Hope.

Tickets for all of the above cost $20 per seat.

Vendor Hours

   Friday: 11am-8pm*
   Saturday: 8am-9pm*
   Sunday: 11am-2pm*

*Vendors may choose to open later or close sooner, depending on interest. If you need Vendor Incentive Program purchases, be sure to do so before vendors close for the evening!

Hotel Dining Hours

In addition, they will have a limited “build your own” burger/chicken/impossible burger buffet available for lunch on Saturday.

  Sunday: 6:30am-9:00am, Brunch 9:00am-1:00pm

Consuite for Volunteers

New this year - a consuite! We are still working out the details, but at a minimum there will be snacks. The consuite is only available to Volunteers, Staff, and Guests as a thank you for all their hard work! If you intend to GM or otherwise volunteer at the convention, feel free to sign-up for the Volunteer badge!
