Q. What are Dragon Marks?
A. They're our version of reward points for returning players. You'll earn one per game played with us.
Q. What can I use them for?
A. There are three things at VDDWs you can redeem them for
- Dragon Mark Badges - 4 Dragon Marks
- Limited Exclusives - 10 Dragon Marks (Not available every month)
- Locked Author-Only Sessions - 15 Dragon Marks (Not available every month)
Q. What is a Dragon Mark Badge?
A. It's a special free badge that gets you early access to buy tickets 2-hours before general sales open
Q. What is a Limited Exclusive?
A. Exclusives are special adventures that are normally only available as part of the D&D eXPerience tracks at our in-person shows.
Q. What is a Locked Author-Only Session?
A. Author-Only Adventures have very limited availability, so we reserve a few sessions for our most loyal players.
Q. How do I use redeem my Dragon Marks?
A. On our Community Discord Server, you can use the command /usemarks eventbadge to get a Dragon Mark Badge, or a badge with an entitlement that allows you to purchase one ticket to an Exclusive game; or you can use the command /usemarks ticketaccess to reserve a ticket for a Locked Author-Only game. Either way our bot will deduct the Dragon Marks from your account and provide you with the code and link you need to get access.
Q. Does unlocking a ticket or badge with Dragon Marks make it free?
A. For a Dragon Mark Badge, yes, they're free with the redemption. For Exclusive Games and Locked sessions you'll still need to pay the price of the badge and/or ticket.
Q. What if I just pay the $99/$199 price shown without the unlock?
A. We will be checking for this, and we will cancel and refund any tickets purchased without an unlock, but we will be unable to refund your transaction fee.
Q. Why is the cost for these tickets so high?
A. Exclusives have very limited distribution and can't be played elsewhere until they're published, many months later. Author-Only sessions will never be published and can only ever be played with the author. In both cases the higher price reflects both the scarcity, but also helps cover the cost in time and effort for producing the adventures.
Q. How many tickets can I buy with an unlock?
A. Only one ticket is allowed per unlock
Q. Can I redeem for additional unlocks?
A. Not for Author-Only games, they're restricted to one per player. For Exclusives, you may redeem for additional unlocks.
