Role Play Con - July 2020-1

Welcome to the Role Play Con!

You can find over 100+ various RPG games here, depending on which DM/GMs are running games. There is a lot of focus on on old-school Dungeons & Dragons gaming (OD&D, 1E, 2E, or Basic/Expert) as well as any pre-1999 type of RPG produced by the classic gaming companies of the 70s and 80s (TSR, Chaosium, FGU, FASA, GDW, etc). We also support retro-clone or simulacrum type gaming that copies the old style of RPGs (Swords & Wizardry, Castles & Crusades, and others). ANY RPG games are welcome at the Con, be it D&D 4e, Pathfinder, or something we haven't even heard of, just be sure you can fill a "table" with 5-6 people before you ask to have it added to the schedule...

This is a 10 day event since TTE doesn't allow a month long Con (which would be so much easier) so I have to break a month up into 3ea 10 day Cons (real pain, so complain to TTE, maybe they'll fix it)

The Con cost is $5.00 for the entire "Con" or $2.00 for a day.

MOST games are hosted by Special Guests ie: names you will know (or should know).

Game seat prices are set by the Special Guest running the game. The Special Guests get ALL the seat money, so you are paying them for their time to run a game for you and your group.

ALL sales are final, no refunds (there can be exceptions like games that don't happen etc.)

Please look around, read up and register if you plan to attend. You must pay for one day or the month before you are able to register for a game.

Each DM/GM may use different software platforms for running their games, ie: Discord, Zoom, Skype, Roll20, Battle Grounds, Fantasy Grounds, Table Top Emulator, Google Hangouts, etc.

We have the following confirmed guests at this time (Chris Clark, Alyssa Faden, Tim Kask, Manda "Talzhemir", Steve Perrin, Stefan Pokorny, Dr. Scott Robinson, James M. Ward, Bill Webb, Steven Winter). The lineup usually includes several of the more important figures in the history of RPGs as a whole and Dungeons & Dragons in particular.
