The 2020 West Coast Regional Wordsy Championship
A word game, where each round players study 8 consonants on the board in real time. The first player to create a word by including vowels starts a 30 sec. timer to finish the round. Highest score wins. The tournament winner gets a trophy, copy of game, free badge for GenCon 2020, free crash space for 3 nights (w/up to 3 other winners) at GenCon, plus a seat in the final round of U.S. National Championship at GenCon.

This event is past the point where ticket sales are permitted.Wordsy is a streamlined re-implementation of Prolix, a word game from 2010. Each round, players study the 8 letters (always consonants) on the board in real time. The first player to write down a word flips a 30-second timer. That player is now the fastest player, and every other player now has 30 seconds to write down their word. The winner of this tournament will get a trophy, a copy of the game, a free badge for Gen Con 2020, free crash space for 3 nights (with up to 3 other winners) at Gen Con 2020, plus a seat at the final round of the U.S. National Championship at Gen Con 2020!
