Crazier Eights: Camelot & Avalon expansion
The theme is inspired by the King Arthur stories. Crazier Eights is a gateway fantasy card game that has some similarities to Uno, and every card can be played for an effect. The first player with zero cards in hand wins.
The main idea is to take your turn drawing one card, playing up to one card, and discarding up to one card. When discarding, you have to match the top of the discard pile or discard an eight.
The Avalon expansion is fifteen cards that can be shuffled into the main deck. It is much less playtested -- maybe tested for a little over a month now.
The plan is to have Crazier Eights: Camelot on Kickstarter starting May 23rd, and the Avalon expansion will be offered as an optional stretch goal.
