Collateral

Build a sky-high tower and place your residents carefully before the whole thing comes down!

In Collateral, players will take turns building up a tower made of blocks and cards.

You will each take turns placing fedora-wearing residents on the tower, getting more points for how high up they are (along with playing a block and a card).

If you go straight up immediately, you can ensure you'll get a decent amount of points later... provided that the tower doesn't fall over in the meantime. If someone topples over your resident, not all hope is lost; you can re-play them again on your turn. Just try not to topple your own residents over-- if you do, you won't get them back.

After everyone plays their residents, each player gets points depending on how many blocks high their residents are.

After you score, prepare to (strategically!) destroy the structure you just built! Whoever has the highest-standing resident goes first during the Destruction phase. On your turn, you will either drop the black cube from above to knock down other residents or pass your turn to the next player.

After that's all finished, score the tower again, (or at least, whatever's left of it,) and add that to the previous round's total.

Whoever has racked up the most points is the winner!
