Lapidary Legends
Step into the enchanting world of "Lapidary Legends," where players compete to become the apprentice of the renowned jeweler, Brin Doda, at her prestigious store, "The Stunning Globe." This family-friendly game is perfect for ages 14 and up, offering a unique and engaging experience for casual gamers and board game enthusiasts alike.
Play through 8 rounds of 2 phases each round. First take turns buying cards using coins. If a player chooses to pass, they receive two cards for free after everyone else has made their purchases.
Then use your cards to cut your gemstone. To cut a layer of a gemstone, a player must have both a dop card and an adhesive card. All adhesive cards must be used, and only the active facet can be cut. Each layer removed earns the player 2 coins.
At the end of the eight rounds score your gem, how many coins you have, whether you polished your gem or not, and any Index Gear cards you were able to acquire. Highest score wins and becomes Brin's apprentice!
