There is, however, a treasure trove of valuables in the manor if one is inclined to dig through it and brave enough to try.
"The Great Verrückter requests your presence. It is a matter of great urgency. There will be cake."
This is a Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure for level 1 characters. It follows the events of "The Sorcerer's Fate," a level-0 funnel. It's unnecessary to have played through the funnel to enjoy this adventure. Characters will be provided, or you can bring your own.
Being natives of the tiny village of Rückstau, characters must be humans and have one of the following backgrounds: Beekeeper, Blacksmith, Butcher, Cheesemaker, Cobbler, Cooper, Costermonger, Ditch digger, Farmer (potato, wheat, turnip, corn, rice, parsnip, radish, or rutabaga), Gongfarmer, Grave digger, Healer, Herbalist, Herder, Hunter, Merchant, Miller/baker, Orphan, Ostler, Ropemaker, Trapper, Wainwright, Weaver, or Woodcutter.
