WHAT IS PGX?

The Pittsburgh Gaming Expo is a Celebration of Gaming. Seriously. That was our guiding principle. While conceptualizing the event, we looked at all of our favorite kinds of events: gaming conventions, cosplay contests, bad-ass rock concerts with video game music, community swap-meets and tabletop nights at local game stores and realized there's an awesome cross-pollination of all geeky hobbies, and more than a little connection between them. Pittsburgh is a geeky city, and what better way to celebrate than with an awesomely geeky event?

BUYING YOUR BADGE

If you preregister, you'll pick-up your badge via the Pre-Registration Check-In Line at the Show! We recommend that you preregister to lock in early discounted badges before prices go up at the door! Plus registering early helps us know how many attendees to plan for!

Kids 12 and Under (up to two) get in free with the purchase of an adult badge!

WHAT CAN I DO THERE?

Well, for one? GAME. Seriously. PGX has a massive library of board games, an awesome free-play arcade, hundreds of hours of scheduled TTRPG content, a free-play gaming console lounge, an entire music festival's worth of concerts on Saturday, tons of panels, indie developers, award winning tattoo artists, industry guests, and one of the most tightly curated vendor showcases!

PGX CONCERT SERIES

At PGX, we believe that gaming and music are like peanut butter and chocolate, strawberries and cream, Hall and Oates- two things that seem like they don't go together until OF COURSE THEY DO. Try NOT to think about the Super Mario Bros theme song right now. Exactly. You can't do it. While we've got more Rock and Metal than the roster of a Mega Man game, we're working to find and add new genres the mix! This year, we're hanging out with:

Galactic Empire, PowerGlove, Psychostick, Danimal Cannon, and Weird Paul!
