Dice Throne - Lockout
Dice Throne is a fast-paced, strategic tabletop game often described as "Yahtzee meets Magic: The Gathering," combining dice manipulation and card play. This unranked tournament will be open to both new players and veterans, and will feature 45 minute rounds (instead of the usual 30) to make things easier for new folks.
A Lockout tournament follows most of the same rules as the usual Bring 3 / Ban 1 format, except each player brings 4 heroes and can choose from any of them before each round starts. When you win with one of your heroes, that hero is "locked out" and can no longer be used for the duration of the tournament. (If you lose, you can play with the hero again.) Standard Swiss pairings are used.
Players are encouraged to bring their own heroes, but a library will be available with all heroes released to date that players can borrow from. (Arrive early if you want to borrow - first come, first served!) We're going to try to get some promos to hand out, too!
