120-Color Theory & Paint Mixing with Dan Dugal

Color. It’s what we create with. It’s the substance of the illusions we bring to life.

In this class, you’ll learn color theory and use it to mix paint predictably to build color schemes that communicate your imagination to the viewers of your art. We’ll look at primary colors, color schemes, color gamuts and color wheels, but most importantly, you’ll be mixing paints to discover how color and pigment actually works for painters.

Please Bring a wet palette and a large hobby brush (ex: size 8 rounds, flats, or angle shaders work well). Paint will be provided.
