Nerdfest is an annual boardgaming convention started by The Gamecasters podcast. It’s meant for anyone who loves to play games and have a good time. Our primary focus is to create a space for like minded people to get together and socialize while doing what we all love most, playing boardgames! We will have a number of great vendors in attendance, as well as some local designers, and there are plenty of events for you to partake in and prizes to win! Above all else, Nerdfest is a place to come and share in a game and a laugh while making new friends. We hope to see you there Friday March 28th - Sunday March 30th of 2025!
Nerdfest is above all else a player's convention. Open gaming is the main draw; however, we will have many events to get involved with if you prefer gaming that way! Otherwise simply bring any game you'd like to play, or check one out in our ever-expanding library, and find a space and some people to play with, and have a blast!!
The Gamecasters is a boardgaming podcast featuring Natalie, Jeff and Ryan who have a ton of fun goofing around, talking about games, and laughing about all the fun stuff going on in their lives. The podcast is a bit more on the adult side of things (don't listen with young children) and has a goal to make you feel like you're sitting around the table with them during a hangout. Check them out at www.thegamecasters.com!
Nerdfest is excited to have you run an event! If you plan on running TWO or more events, you will be eligible for a 50% discount off the price of your registration!
Here is how the process will work:
On the right-hand side of the page, click the green button called "Submit Events" (If on mobile device, scroll down to find this button). On the next page click the green button called "New Submission."
If you HAVEN'T yet registered for Nerdfest, DON'T. Apply to run your events first and then we will reach out to you with your 50% code that you will then use to register for Nerdfest.
If you already HAVE registered for Nerdfest, please email us at NerdfestCon@gmail.com and let us know and we will refund you 50%.
We're looking to expand into more of the convention space of the hotel, and to make that happen while keeping ticket prices low, we're attempting to fundraise to help with those additional costs. Please see below how to get involved, if interested!
