Midwest GameFest Online 2023
About Us
Midwest GameFest Online is an annual four-day tabletop hobby game convention held each Fall online. It is the companion convention to our in-person event, Midwest GameFest, held each Spring in the Kansas City area. Come join us for online role-playing games, historical miniatures, board games, card games, organized play, cosplay, workshops, game designers, benefit events, and more! Midwest GameFest Online is organized and funded by The Role-Players Guild of Kansas City.
Fall into Online
Our Fall online event is hosted via Discord (a free text, audio, and video service) with a number of online virtual tabletops (VTTs) including Roll20, Tabletop Simulator, and more (game hosts decide). Discord is a web-based service that also has great desktop and mobile apps.
Online Events
We feature board games, card games, historical and other miniatures wargaming, and role-playing games of all sorts. You'll find cosplay contests, panels and workshops, one-off custom games, organized play events, tournaments, our storied Gamers Garage Sale, and our benefit raffle for Harvesters.
Online Exhibitors
At our in-person convention, we feature exhibitors from all around the Midwest. But online we have no direct exhibitor sales. Instead, we host a range of exhibitor-sponsored events and promote their wares. Many will offer discounts to our attendees during the online convention or even host special designer-run games. Don't miss out!
Online Volunteers
We offer great discounts for individuals and groups who can help out during the convention, and we have flexible volunteer hours to meet your schedule. You can even earn FREE ADMISSION just for helping out. Come out and be one of the crew!
