Midtown Board Game Day

The Midtown Board Game Day is a once a year event organized to bring the fun of board games to the Midtown community in Harrisburg, PA. The event, attracting over 100 people, was founded in 2016, starting in a small classroom provided by the Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). The goal of the event is to bring together board game players of every stripe and create a family event for all to enjoy, while also highlighting the many activities available in the Midtown community.

The 2017 Midtown Board Game Day Our event is provided free of charge to the community and has been supported two friendly local gaming stores over the past two years: The Adventures Guild and The Game Table Cafe.

In 2019, Midtown Board Game Day is partnering with The Bodhana Group to organize the event. The Bodhana Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advocates the use of tabletop gaming as a directed therapeutic and clinical practice that can benefit personal growth as well as enhance social and educational services to individuals and families.
