So what is MIDTOBERFEST anyway? What's the vision, what's the goal?

First, this is not another Midwinter Gaming Convention. The goal is not to create another full four day event. While hosted by Midwinter, MIDTOBERFEST is its own entity.

Right now the event is a Sunday all-day game day featuring Local Creators & Designers offering their games for sale.

You'll see tables of games available & talk with the people that poured themselves into the making of those games.

We'll also have Learn to Play events featuring titles that are part of the WI State Championship Series, so that you can feel confident taking on the tournaments in January.

Finally, Open Gaming will be available, including games from our Featured Titles track at Midwinter...meaning games created by Local & Regional Creators.

But you said something about a vision...a goal?

The overall goal for MIDTOBERFEST is to be a two day experience. As we move forward, Saturday will become an Industry Event offering networking, programing, & creative renewal focused on building up the Local Creator Community. Sunday will continue to grow the aspects mentioned above.

It's always ambitious creating a new "thing", & we are so thankful to have you join us in this endeavor!
