HOOKED is a time travel game about creating and (hopefully) closing time loops as you attempt to stop the world from ending. Throughout the game players are able to change failures and partial successes to partial successes or full successes by creating HOOKS: moments where their future self has come back to assist them. However, they must remember to go back and close the loop or else risk creating a paradox. Too many paradoxes and the world will rip apart at the seams.
Runs on a simple D6 dice pool system!
This playtest is all about stress testing the HOOK mechanic. I'm looking to see if HOOKs are fun to use, easy to keep track of, and help to move the narrative forward as intended.
