The Maine Tabletop Alliance presents: The Maine Tabletop Convention

"MaineCon: The Way Tabletop Should Be!"

MaineCon was created from a simple belief: Tabletop gaming is its best when it brings people together. Whether gathered around a board game, rolling dice in a roleplaying adventure, painting miniatures, shuffling cards, building armies, or sharing stories with friends, tabletop gaming creates connections that extend far beyond the game itself.

The Maine Tabletop Convention, affectionately known as MaineCon, was founded to celebrate those connections and the incredible community that makes them possible. Hosted by the Maine Tabletop Alliance, MaineCon is a community-driven convention dedicated to bringing people together from across Maine and New England for a day of unforgettable experiences.

MaineCon isn't just a place to play games. It's a place to discover your next favorite hobby, meet the artist behind your favorite artwork, learn from game designers and content creators, and introduce friends and family to the hobby you love. It's a place where lifelong friendships can begin with a simple question: "Want to play?"

Whether you're a seasoned veteran with shelves full of games or someone curious about rolling your very first die, MaineCon is designed to be welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for everyone.

MaineCon celebrates every corner of the tabletop hobby, including: TTRPGs, Board Games, TCGs, Wargaming ,Painting, Authors, Independent Creators, Live Events, Vendors, and Artists. From casual gamers and competitive players to creators and collectors, there's a place for everyone at MaineCon.

MaineCon is organized by the Maine Tabletop Alliance, an organization founded by Nathaniel and Erin Ward with a mission to support, grow, and strengthen tabletop gaming throughout the State of Maine. What began as a simple idea to connect local gamers quickly grew into organized gaming events, roleplaying campaigns, miniature gaming communities, Blood Bowl leagues, hobby workshops, and countless opportunities for people to come together through a shared love of tabletop gaming. MaineCon represents the next step in that journey. By bringing together the many communities that make up Maine's tabletop hobby, we hope to create a convention that celebrates creativity, fosters collaboration, supports local businesses and creators, and helps new players discover the joy of gaming.

Our tagline, "The Way Tabletop Should Be", is more than a slogan, it's our philosophy. We believe tabletop spaces should be welcoming, creativity should be celebrated, and community should come first. At MaineCon we believe every person deserves a seat at the table. Everything we do at MaineCon is guided by those principles.

Whether you're attending as a player, creator, artist, sponsor, volunteer, vendor, guest, or community partner, you're helping us build something special.Together, we're creating more than a convention. We're not just building a convention, we're building a tradition.
