Maelstrom 2023

Maelstrom 2023 is a gaming convention that Venture Crew 2142 hosts annually to support our Scouting goals. Most of the games will be hosted by Venture Crew youth members, registered adult leadership, or special friends of our Scout unit that have unique skills.

Our convention is open to 6th-12th grade students and registered Scouting Adults ONLY. We do this to help create a safe environment for youth to come and experience a game convention. Parents are welcome to come and observe any part of the convention. All of our staff are youth or adults that have passed background strict background checks.

Registration is $30 by October 27, $35 after. The fee includes lunch and dinner for the day. Games and tournaments will run until 8 or 9 PM.

Games include: D&D, Gunfighters Ball Miniatures, Warhammer 40K, Power Rangers Heroes of the Grid, Mousetrap, Survive, Star Wars X-wing, and many other board games, RPGs, and miniatures.

Tournaments include: Mousetrap & Smash Bros.
