Got a game you love to share? We want you in the GM chair at MadCon! Whether you are a storytelling master or just eager to teach your favorite board game, your passion is what makes our community great.

Why Run Games at MadCon?

• Free Weekend Badge: Host just 24 player hours to get your badge fully comped!

  1. How it works: Player hours = (Number of seats at your table) × (Hours of the session).
  2. Intentionality over results: We reward your effort, not ticket sales. If only one player shows up, just run the game and your badge is still covered!
• Comped Hotel Room: Gather a crew! Groups of 4 event runners who combine for 192 player hours qualify for a comped room right in the attached hotel.

Your Responsibilities

• Create a Fun Experience: Welcome players of all skill levels, from brand-new beginners to experienced veterans.
• Respect the Community: Follow all MadCon conduct policies to keep the convention safe and fun.
• Check In & Out: Swing by Event HQ (located just inside the main gaming hall doors) before and after your event.
• Report Your Results: Let HQ know your final attendance numbers and pass along any fun notes or feedback.
• Be Prompt & Pack Up: Arrive 10 minutes early to set up or be ready to set up. Ensure your table is completely clean by the end of your session so the next game can start on time.
• Lean on Us: Report any issues or table conflicts immediately to Event HQ. We are here to support you!
