A D&D 5e homebrew one-shot: Deep in the northeastern wilds of the Mirador Empire lie the Ruins of the Temple of Noctis, a long-forgotten shrine to the Lord of Shadows. Once a place of dark worship, the temple was sealed centuries ago—its priests executed, its relics buried beneath stone and secrecy. Now, something stirs within the ruins. A scholar claims to have deciphered ancient texts revealing a hidden vault beneath the temple, one that may hold The Duskblade, Noctis’ fabled weapon. But as your party ventures into the shattered halls, they quickly learn that some shadows never fade. Whispers slither through the corridors, unseen forces pull at the edges of reality, and the deeper you go, the thinner the veil between this world and the Void becomes. Will you claim the blade, or will the darkness claim you first?
