Vaccination Policy
To ensure a safe environment, LexiCon is requiring all participants to be vaccinated. Guests will be required to show proof of vaccination before receiving their badge. We are also encouraging everyone to get the booster before LexiCon and we will follow CDC guidelines with regards to fully vaccinated status. We know this will be an inconvenience, but it is a necessary one to protect the health and welfare of our guests, and we appreciate your understanding. LexiCon will be among the first, tabletop gaming conventions to open up the 2022 season. Providing a safe environment is our priority, so along with proof of vaccination from guests, we have also required our staff and volunteers to be vaccinated. The good news is since everyone will be vaccinated; we will not require masks. There will be no exceptions to this except for a valid medical excuse from a doctor. Please contact the convention director to discuss this to see if you qualify. Of course, if you are having significant medical issues, you will probably not want to attend.
Kids 12 under can attend if they have had at least one vaccination before attending. If not, they will need to wear a mask for the weekend.
We are trying to be as flexible as reasonable as is safe and it took a while for the information to be shared with parents about vaccination for their children. About Us
LexiCon Tabletop Game Convention is a fun, friendly gaming convention held April 1st to 3rd, 2022 in beautiful Lexington KY. We're located at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center, where your hotel room is only a two-minute walk to boardgames, roleplaying games, free access to LexiCon's large library (1,000 + games), tournaments, cosplay, excellent venders, game demos, adult evening gaming parties, and more. We offer Family Events on Sunday, a large Tiny Towns Tournament, and a great VIP area. There's plenty to do for individuals and groups. You are welcome to wear a mask over the weekend and we will have cleaning stations throughout the conference area. We are known for great social, gaming parties sponsored by West Sixth Brewing (Oh, yeah!) and being a friendly, regional Con. Boardgames make up about 60% percent of our events. RPGs make up 40%, and we have a huge space devoted specifically for their use. Add in 30% for other amazing activities, and your weekend adds up to 130% of fun!
