Two-Brush Blending with David Diamondstone
Beginner: Blending is a foundational technique in miniature painting, because it is used constantly across the figure. When practiced correctly, two-brush blending is a fast and effective way to create smooth blends. This class will quickly cover the basics of when and why to blend, and then will spend the bulk of class time showing students how to perform two-brush blending, with time to practice, and some tips for troubleshooting. Time permitting, I may discuss additional blending techniques at the end. **Please bring your own brushes, at least two per student!** Ideal brush sizes are a size 1 and a size 2, but two size 1s or two size 2s can also work well. Optional: paint, practice minis, and disposable palettes will be provided, but you may also bring your own paint, palette, and/or practice minis if you have a preference.
