Tickets
This event is past the point where ticket sales are permitted.Virginia Hall, a US citizen working for the British Special Operations Executive, set up French resistance cells from nothing in Vichy France. When Germany invaded Vichy, she fled over the Pyrenees Mountains to Portugal. She climbed over 8000 meters in the winter, with one prosthetic leg that was falling apart by the time she made it down and out of the mountains. Her network included prostitutes, nuns, and farmers. The Vichy could be worse than the Nazis when it came to interrogation techniques, so courage was needed by all members of the resistance.
When the time came for D-Day, there were thousands of acts of sabotage. Sugar in gas tanks, grit in grease and oil, misdirected supplies, changed road signs, mine roads, even ambushes. For this tournament, players are asked to bring one partisan themed objective. While we are using the French resistance as inspiration, there were partisans working for other nations. So use your imagination on those objective markers!
Each player is asked to bring ONE Generic Reinforced Platoon, limit is 1000 points, 16 order dice. NO PLANES! Each player is also asked to bring 1 - 3 Partisan Themed Objective Markers. Objective Markers are to be on round bases, and be no more than 50mm in diameter and height. Part of each player's score will depend on the objective markers brought.
