Volunteer Registration is now OPEN!

HMGS is always looking for Volunteers to help at our show. Please consider helping in one of the Volunteer positions that are available for July 16-20, 2025 - Historicon® 2025.
We offer the following compensation for your volunteering time:

20 Hours • Volunteer T-shirt. • A badge to the show. • Vouchers (can be used for certain food items or with participating exhibitors in Exhibit Hall Vendors). • ½ of a room (you will be sharing a room with another volunteer so bring a friend or family member to volunteer with you).

10 Hours • Volunteer T-shirt. • A badge to the show. • Vouchers (can be used for certain food items or with participating Exhibit Hall Vendors).

5 Hours • Volunteer T-shirt. • A badge to the show.

We need people to staff the following areas: Exhibit Hall (lifting up to 50 pounds/walking) – Duties include: •Helping Exhibitors at check-in by providing badges, assisting in loading/unloading, resolving issues, etc.
•Assisting Exhibitors during exhibit hall hours. Events Help Desk (walking and computer skills) – Duties include: •Helping assisting attendees with choosing Events on a computer. •Answering general attendee questions - e.g. Helping them find Events. •Assisting Event Hosts with issues. •Collecting fill rate data. Registration (computer skills) – Duties include: •Computer Skills for onsite Registration. •Assisting pre-registered Attendees with the “print-on-demand” badge system. •Handing out t-shirts and convention bags. PLEASE NOTE: Some positions require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and/or spend a significant amount of time walking. Registration requires computer skills.
