In the early 21st century, humanity retreated into the depths of the Westport Chalet and established Vault 26. This reinforced and hermetically sealed basement was designed to withstand the dangers of any external force. Even the exits were chained shut to protect against hordes of ravaging bandits.

Inside this small haven of humanity, the last remnants of civilization eked out a meager life. For generations, they ate nothing but fuzzy tacos and drank nothing but watery margaritas, at least until those fine establishments fell to the creeping chaos of the wasteland.

And then, into the long dark night of mankind's lowest ebb, came a prophet carrying a bundle dredged up from the long-lost past... board games. Starving for entertainment and mental stimulation, the vault dwellers organized themselves around these gifts from their ancestors and formed fervent clans of "gamers," focused on one thing and one thing only: the relentless accumulation of victory points.

Welcome to Vault 26. Welcome to Geekway Mini.

What can you expect?

Geekway's smaller, younger cousin is back in Westport this January. While we can’t guarantee you’ll never see a mutant in the vault, we can at least give you some games you can play while you dodge their radioactive bites.

As always, Geekway Mini will include:

• Play and Win games - play a game, and then enter to win the game! Each additional play gives you an additional entry.
• Access to the full Geekway library, giving you the chance to play games both old and new.
• All the Fancy Lads Snack Cakes and Nuka Cola you can consume (while supplies last).
• And more!

VENUE

We are at the Sheraton Chalet for Geekway Mini, just like 2025. And while it's a basement, it's actually not a Vault. We have doors and windows and honestly it wouldn't make much a shelter against too much of anything large and radioactive. But we can pretend!

T-SHIRT

This year's Geekway Mini t-shirt will feature Mark Sellmeyer's "Geekway Vault" theme art. You can order your shirt when you register, or add it later, but you will not be able to buy shirts on-site, so order now if you want one!

MORE ABOUT MINI

Geekway Mini is a smaller version of Geekway to the West, which occurs each year in May (it's May 14-17, 2026). Geekway Mini is focused strictly on open gaming - no scheduled events and no vendors. Because it's smaller, it is more expensive for us to host, and that's reflected in a more expensive ticket price. (Also, if you are wondering if we have increased the price, we have. With game prices increasing in the last year, we need to bump our pricing slightly to continue to make Mini financially feasible.)

REFUND INFO

You can refund your badge until Friday, January 2nd, at 8:00 AM Central Time. We will keep 6% of your purchase price to cover fees that are charged by Tabletop Events. After January 2nd, no refunds are available!
