Cast thine eyes to the west, to Valinor, to the sacred home of elves, to Geekway - Geekway to the West, that is! Geekway to the West 2025 is set for May 15-18, 2025. We will once again be at the St. Charles Convention Center, located just minutes from Lambert St. Louis Airport. The attached Embassy Suites hotel provides lodging suitable for the most discriminating of hobbits!

Badges include the following:

• Access to all four days of open gaming, 24 hours a day for the duration of the convention.
• Access to the vendor hall, game library (including the world-famous Play and Win selection), the ability to sign up for all tournaments and events, and participation in door prizes.
• Price: $70.

Badges will be on sale until April 7, 2025, or until we sell out. Don't get lost in the Barrow Downs - Geekway doesn't do sales at the door. Buy your badge early!

About Geekway to the West

Geekway is a convention managed and run entirely by volunteers, and focused exclusively on board games. In 2024, we welcomed 3000 gamers to St. Louis!

Geekway is known throughout Middle Earth for our Play and Win collection. We hand-pick around 100 different titles, and provide multiple copies for checkout and play. Every time you play a Play and Win game, you get an entry to win a copy of that game. The more you play, the more chances to win! This is a great way to try out games that are new to you, and hopefully take a couple home.

We also have a gigantic curated game library* with more than 2000 games of all genres. This is a perfect way for you to try out an old classic, find a new favorite, or simply grab a game to play with friends in the massive open gaming space.

*Note: Availability of the Geekway library depends on us getting it back from the dragon Smaug, who stole it from our ancestors when he invaded Westport years ago.

Additionally, Geekway offers:

• A vendor hall with over 20 publishers excited to show you their wares, procured everywhere from Gondor to Eriador.
• Fun events like Battling Tops and Fancy Gaming.
• A Flea Market to help you get rid of your old games, or pick up some bargains for your collection.
• Prototype Row, where you can show off your own game design and get tips from fellow designers/dwarves.
• Demo games available from 25+ publishers!
• Arise, arise, Gamers of Théoden! Fell deeds awake, fire and dice rolling! Dice shall be shaken, cards shall be shuffled, a word game day, a red meeple day, ere the sun rises (and after, too)! Game now, game now!

A note on fees: We use the fine platform of Tabletop Events to manage our convention. And they do a good job, but it costs more than a ring fitter in Mordor! This year, we are absorbing the fees that we are charged (about 6.5% per badge sold). However, if you ask for a refund, we still need to cover those fees. So here's our Refund Policy - You can refund your badge until Friday, May 9, at 8:00 AM Central Time. We will keep 6% of your purchase price to cover fees that are charged by Tabletop Events. After May 9, no refunds are available!

When you purchase your badge, you can also add a t-shirt to your order! This year's t-shirt features Mark Sellmeyer's "One Con to Gather Them All" design. Limited quantities are available, so be sure to pre-order a shirt to make sure you can get this year's shirt!

Hotel Info: Our connected hotel is the Embassy Suites. First dibs for this hotel goes to those who buy Hotel Patron Badges. When you buy your badge, you will receive an email with a link to the hotel block. If there are no rooms available, here are a few alternatives that are better than the finest inns of Bree:

• Sadly The Prancing Pony in Bree is sold out, as a large party of hobbits have taken most of the rooms. (By the way, if you find a Mr. Underhill please let us know, as he owes us money. He seems to have vanished.)

We will have a shuttle that runs between the convention center and the Streets of St. Charles shopping area, where both hotels above are located.

Geekway runs smoothly because we have the best crew of volunteers. They do whatever we need - library duties, carrying big boxes, or washing dishes after a hobbit's eleventy-first birthday party. Our volunteer Hairfoots are known as Geek Guides!

Emails with links to signups will go out February 14 at 8 AM to Specialized Geek Guides (Brute, Loot, & Boot Squads, Flea Market Guides) and on February 21 at 8 AM to all Previous Geek Guides.
