Did you miss the pre-registration deadline? You can still register on site and sign up for scheduled events with openings. You can also create events by filling out a blank event sheet and adding it to the sign-up binder under the appropriate day and time.

Welcome to the 2018 Gaming Hoopla!

The 2018 Gaming Hoopla will be held from April 27th-29th at the Doubletree by Hilton in Mundelein, IL.

The Gaming Hoopla features tabletop boardgaming, miniatures, role-playing games, giant & life-size board games, tournaments, play-to-win events, free game rental from the new Gaming Hoopla games library, exhibitors, and much more!

With hundreds of scheduled events, as well as open gaming areas and a well-curated rental library, Gaming Hoopla is an ideal place for board game hobbyists to play with friends and family, or meet new gaming buddies! We host games of all age levels and skill levels, genres and play types. This year, the Hoopla will be opening the doors one hour before the first event slot begins (reflected in the hours shown to the right), to allow attendees to register and set up games they are judging before the action starts!

We also feature: The Best Raffle Ever!; Exhibitors - featuring a variety of items for sale; a Silent Auction; and the Hoopla Math Trade.

Less than an hour north of Chicago center and 1 hour south of Milwaukee center, 15 minutes off I-94, the DoubleTree by Hilton offers an on-site restaurant and bar (the Karma Pub), as well as dozens of very close dining options from fast food to sit-down restaurants.
