Beautiful historic church in downtown Savannah on Chippewa Square (Square where Forest Gump was filmed). Some parking available in near by lot. Street meatered parking available as well, free after 8pm and on all day on Sundays.

All proceeds from the event go to support Barkus & Meoux Savannah. This is a new nonprofit animal welfare organization in the greater Savannah,GA area. Their mission is to develop, foster, and promote programs to educate pet owners about responsible pet ownership. And to support families in financial crisis whose pet(s) experience an immediate medical need. By supporting these families, BMS hopes to help keep pets in their homes, subsequently decreasing the number of pet relinquishments each year. While they are not a rescue organization they hope to work closely with establish animal rescue organizatons already in place.
