Game Conclave: CONsortium

Dear Fans,

It is with a heavy heart that we find ourselves compelled to cancel this August's event: The CONSortium.

With any business plan, you must be able to provide a plan to cover costs. We attempted to heavily market this convention on social media, in person at the many local game stores, and in person at major conventions we attended. Even with that effort, we sold few badges. With the lack of interest in the convention, and with a bleak projection of badge sales going forward, we had no choice but to pull the plug.

Those of you who have purchased badges will receive a full refund in the next few days. Expect it to be credited to the method of payment you used to purchase the badge.

We have not lost hope on delivering gaming conventions and experiences to the Central Florida area -- a region we believe is lacking in such things, but is not lacking in interested and motivated players. We need to find a way to bridge the gap and engage those players more effectively, and we'll be working on that for the next few months.
