What is FlatCon?

Located on the expansive flatlands that are Central Illinois. FlatCon has been Bloomington-Normal’s premiere annual gaming convention since 2000. Running in 2019 from Friday, October 11th through Sunday the 13th, FlatCon is presented by Gamers For Life which supports the American Cancer Society through the Gamers For Life Relay for Life team. FlatCon’s attendees are “Scoring a Crit on Cancer” and doing some serious gaming! Our 2016 con raised $3,000 for Relay for Life!

Whether you play Role-playing, Card, Board, Mini, LARP or other types of games that do not fit into a specific niche, you will find something fun to play FlatCon! Some of the games we play:

But, wait! There’s more! FlatCon, also, has a large vendor area selling games and geekery, the Over The Top Contest, a Charity Raffle, a free Games Library from BoardGame Academy, Play to Win games, demos from the Double Exposure Envoys, onsite concessions and food trucks, and a host of other Special Events!

FlatCon is three days of games, fun, and taking a whack at an insidious disease. What’s not to like about that?
