Speakeasy - Social Deception Party Game
Speakeasy is an exciting and dynamic social deception game that pits the mob vs the feds trying to figure out who is who, set in the 1920s. Unlike BOTC with night/day turns and players death, in Speakeasy, players have a full hour having freeform conversations and using special powers and aiblities to track down who is what role on what team. At the end of the game, teams are scored based on how well they have identified their opponents.
To find their teammates, players use passwords that only they and up to 2 other teammates are in posession of. Players drop these passwords in casual conversation hoping their teammates will hear and reveal themselves. But be warned! One person on your team is actually working for the other side and will do everything they can to sabotage you!
While the game is in progress, players are given substantial freedom to act how they wish. Revealing cards, spying on players, listening in on private conversations... all of it is allowed during the game time. Additionally, in-game points can be used as currency to bribe players or purchase special power ups granting special abilities to you.
No experience needed. The game will be explained and players taught!
