Feast of the Cyclops Con

Feast of the Cyclops Con FAQ

- What is Feast of the Cyclops Con?

Feast of the Cyclops Con is an online convention for all things in the Goodman Games universe.

- When is Feast of the Cyclops Con?

Feast of the Cyclops Con will be held Friday November 14th through Sunday the 16th.

- What are the convention hours?

This is a virtual convention so there are no physical limitations to our hours. We’re also open to gamers worldwide, so our “hours” may cross time zones! As long as GMs are listing games for some time during this Friday to Sunday window, we are open!

- What time zone will the convention be hosted in?

Feast of the Cyclops Con events will be listed on TableTop Events in the Eastern Time Zone. But you can join from any time zone!

- How much does a badge cost?

Player badges cost $15 and include access to games run at any time during the con. If you are a Judge/DM who runs at least two games, your badge is free. You also receive early event registration, so you get a chance to find a seat at a table before anyone else!

- What are the different categories for the events?

There are 4 types of events:

  1. RPG events created by Judges/DMs from the community.
  2. Road Reaver RPGs run by battle hardened, experienced Judges/DMs.
  3. Premiere Events by some of the biggest names in the Dungeon Crawl Classics community.
  4. Seminar events.

- What are the costs for the different event categories?

There are no individual ticket costs per event. Your one weekend badge cost covers as many events as you can register for.

- What kind of systems can I run?

Feast of the Cyclops Con is a convention to celebrate and play the systems and settings published by Goodman Games. Events can include, but are not limited to, D&D 5E, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Mutant Crawl Classics, Xcrawl Classics, or Original Adventures Reincarnated.

- How do I register to play in an event?

To select an event to play in, find the event you are interested in playing on the event schedule calendar. Select the event and click Get Ticket to add a ticket for the event to your cart. When you are ready to check out, click on the cart tab and finish the checking out process. Tickets will remain in the cart for 15 minutes. Don’t forget to check out! Tickets left in your cart will become available for general purchase if not paid for in a timely manner.

- What if I have to cancel playing/give up my spot in a game?

If you cancel, the next person with the event on their wishlist will be notified and offered the chance to purchase your seat. Please be aware that no refunds will be given for badges or cancellations occurring after Thursday, November 13th at 11:59 PM ET.

- I don’t know where my game is taking place. My GM/Judge hasn’t contacted me yet.

First, check your spam folder to see if there is an email from TTE (TableTop Events). Click on the GM/Judge’s name in the event listing to try sending them a direct email. Try to contact the GM/Judge via their secondary contact info through Discord. Inform a convention staff member or convention volunteer, via Discord or email, that you are having trouble contacting your GM/Judge and we will try to assist in contacting them.

- Who can I contact if I have a question?

Most questions can be answered from the Goodman Games Discord server: Join the Goodman Games Discord Server! If you have an immediate concern or problem, you can email Matt Robertson at grapeape@goodman-games.com or send an email to info@goodman-games.com.
