Epic Saturday Charity Game Day

What We Are Doing

Join the North Central Illinois Adventurers and the Chums of Chance for our first co-event, a charity fundraiser with tabletop gaming at the center of the fun! Look at all the great things we have planned for you during this event...

  • You can enjoy two of the Season 6 Epics during this day of entertainment. These games will be limited to only 6 tables in a dedicated room, and we will have materials for the games professionally created. Because of this, attendees can count on a quality experience. Look below for the Epic names and descriptions. This may be the last time you get to play in these (soon-to-be-retired) epics, so don't miss this chance.
  • You can donate $1 to charity and receive a reroll.
  • You will be served lunch during the break.
  • All attendees will get a special Game Day cert, exclusive to this event!
  • You will be entered to win copy of the new adventure book, Tomb of Annihilation, in a special themed bag for it!

You get all of these things for only $25 per person (flat-rate, no event ticket fees). Besides being a great deal, your entry fee will help the needy in our community. Money our group raises will benefit PADS of Illinois Valley, a homeless shelter in our community. In addition, North Central Illinois Adventurers and Chums of Chance will be making a donation to the YMCA of Illinois Valley, to support them in their public health efforts.

Who We are Helping

Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS) of Illinois Valley is an area shelter that caters to the homeless and hungry in our community. Their mission statement is to provide shelter, food, and services to people in need. Their core values include valuing human dignity and worth, serving with compassion and generosity, partnering with communities for local resources, and empowering people to be self-sufficient. You can learn more about this great organization's efforts on their webpage, IV Pads –

The YMCA of Illinois Valley seeks to put principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. They have a community clinic on premises, provide daycare and afterschool activities for children, and host health and wellness classes. They have a pretty rocking indoor splash park for children, as well. Finally, they host North Central Illinois Adventurers events. You can learn more about this YMCA on their website, Welcome to the Illinois Valley YMCA - Illinois Valley YMCA

Adventure Descriptions

DDEP6-1: Relics of Khundrukar. Khundrukar held many fine implements of war in its heyday, many of them now lost to time. Clues point to some of long dead Master Smith Durgeddin’s handiwork in the service of sinister forces that bid their time deep in the Underdark. Reclaim the riches of Khundrukar from the darkness if you dare. A Four-Hour Epic Adventure for 1st-4th and 5th-10th Level Characters (with a minimum of two tables for each tier).

DDEP6-2: Return to White Plume Mountain. New information has tarnished the reputation of the wizard Kelvan. Can he really be complicit in the kidnapping of a high priestess and the disappearance of others in the area around White Plume Mountain? Or is he simply the pawn of a much greater power? A 4-Hour Epic Adventure for 5th-16th Level Characters (with a minimum of two tables for each tier).
