Kampfgruppe Peiper: The Attack on Stavelot; Dec 18, 1944

It is the early morning of December 18, 1944. After a penetration of the American 1st Army lines in the Ardennes of over 50km on December 17th, the Spitze of Pieper's Kampfgruppe is poised to attack Stavelot and take the critical bridge over the Ambleve river. In the town, fresh American reinforcements, elements of the 526th Armored Rifle battalion (independent) and the 825th TD battalion have just arrived under orders to defend the bridge. WWII, 15mm, Hail of Fire Rules, rules will be taught.
