Ember Con Isn't Here to Turn a Profit

100% of the proceeds raised from badge and game ticket sales go towards the National Fallen Fire Firefighter’s Foundation (NFFF). The NFFF is a nonprofit that provides funds for firefighters who are injured on duty - and helps cover the funeral costs for families who experience a line of duty death. Mental health support, scholarships, and much more make-up the full mission of the NFFF.

Over 80% of firefighters in Wisconsin are volunteers, making it difficult for them to receive healthcare for injuries they receive on the job. That’s where the NFFF comes in. By providing the much-needed funds for medical care, injured firefighters can be back on their feet as fast as possible. You can read more about the NFFF at www.firehero.org.
