DUNGEON CON VOLUNTEER POLICIES

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Goodman Games for Dungeon Con 3! We couldn't be more happy to invite you to be a part of the team.

We are recruiting for the following time slots:

Work Shifts

• At the warehouse sale:
  • Thurs 9am-1pm (2 people needed)
  • Thurs 1pm-5pm (2 people needed)
• At the warehouse sale:
  • Fri 8-Noon (4 people needed)
  • Fri Noon-4 (4 people needed)
• At the Grand Wayne Convention Center:
  • Fri 4-8pm (2 people needed)
  • Sat 9am-5pm (1 person needed)
  • Sat 3pm-11pm (1 person needed)
  • Sun 9am-5pm (1 person needed)

Volunteer Perks and Compensation

• 1-8 hours of work = convention badge
• 9+ hours of work = $15/hr in product credit (face value) + badge
• Early access signup to events
• Advance access to warehouse sale on Thursday 1-5pm
• Convention t-shirt is provided for 4+ hours of work
• We do not compensate for any booth helper's transportation, parking or hotel in any form.

After 25 years of convention experience, here are some recommendations we can offer to make your volunteering experience really pay off!

Guidelines for all volunteers:

• Bring comfortable walking shoes.
• Pack a refillable water bottle! (Trust us on this!)
• If you’re driving, research parking ahead of time. Check out the parking apps available.
• Wear DCC/MCC/XCC/Goodman Games apparel, if possible — if not, don’t wear apparel for an unrelated games or competitors.
• Follow all codes of conduct as put forth by the event.
• Hygiene! The standard rules bear repeating; you are expected to SHOWER, brush teeth, and change clothes every 24 hours.

• Respect pronouns shown on badges.
• Follow the Golden Rule - Treat other how you want to be treated!
• There are a lot of new players joining us, so make sure they know the community values them.
