(General description)
Angry Dwarf Games LLC DBA - DaveCon reserves the right to reject this contract with a full refund to the vendor if the vendor is not accepted. If this Application is accepted the vendor will adhere to the terms below.
1)Convention vendor space is designated will be designated before the convention.
1a) Vendors are responsible for all their electrical and internet connectivity needs. They will need to contact the Crowne Plaza Bloomington and arrange thru their vendor anything beyond a standard electrical outlet.
2) DaveCon will not allow the following items to be sold in ANY Vendors booths, the list in subsection 2a is subject to change before the convention. If you have a question about a product, please contact the convention staff to make sure your in compliance. 2a) Drug Paraphernalia, Narcotics, Alcohol, Hot or Cold Foods, Prepackaged foods or beverages over 4 oz.,Live animals, Firearms, Ammunition, Illegally reproduced Art or Games, sexually offensive, xenophobic, blasphemous, racist & political materials. This includes any and all flags unless approved.
2b) Vendors who violate the above banned list will be asked to
remove said items from the convention area immediately. If the Vendors or Artists fail to comply after asked to do so, the convention staff will use any legal means necessary to remove the vendor from the convention.
2c) Vendors signage must not violate or infringe on any copyright held by others unless they have written permission from the copyright holder or it is authorized advertisement material from a product maker.
3) Vendors are responsible for their staffs conduct. If someone from their staff is acting in a unprofessional manner and it’s reported to the convention staff, the convention may elect to have the Vendor remove said personnel from the convention for the remainder of the convention.
4) Vendors will be issued up to six transferable badges for NON Gaming entry to the convention for their booth. If the Vendor purchases more then the standard booth space, they may ask for additional badges for staff.
4a) Vendors who are demonstrating product in the gaming area may ask for
Demonstrator badges in addition to the badges they are assigned. The demonstrator badge allows the vendor to demonstrate any game they have brought with them to sell or demonstrate at the convention.
5) Vendor understand the Vendors hall will be open from 10am till 5pm Friday and Saturday. 10am to 3pm Sunday. Load in and out times will be as follows :
Load In - 3pm till 8pm on Thursday 7am till 9am on Friday
Load Out - times 3pm till 6pm on Sunday
6) Vendors are solely responsible for all taxes and permits needed for and from the municipality, city, county, state and federal government to sell at the convention. They further hold Angry Dwarf Games LLC – DBA DaveCon completely harmless if the Vendor is in violation of any and all laws they intentionally or unintentionally break during the convention.
7) Vendors who wish to have promotional material be placed into guest swag bags must have the material to Angry Dwarf Games LLC dba DaveCon by April 10st 2025. This includes gift certificates or coupons for items the vendor is giving away at or after the convention.
8) all Vendor booths must be manned during the entire convention unless a vendor or one of it's employees is sick. If this does happen someone must report this to Davecon staff immediately. Breaks for food and restroom are allowed.
9) Vendors who are accepted will pay a NON REFUNDABLE vendor space fee unless their space goes unused for an acceptable reason to DAVECON staff, then all fees will transfer to the next year only.
10) First time DaveCon vendors are required to submit Three references to other conventions they have been a vendor at. This information must include Name of convention, phone number and person in charge. This information must be attached to the application.
Booth prices are as follows.
$250.00 for one 10'x10' space. Until September 1st 2025 $300.00 for one 10'x10' space. After September 1st 2025
Vendors may purchase 2 or more spaces but must contact DaveCon to see if extra space is available.
The underside here by abides by the rules and regulations set forth above. All Applications and Checks are payable to Angry Dwarf Games LLC and must be received by April 1st 2025 for consideration. Davecon reserves the right to reject any application.
